For this project I was tasked to create a visual piece that marketed a hiking trail called Backbone Trail. Purpose for this was to bring in awareness to the trail and drive traffic to it. I went with designing a poster as the main visual piece to attract the customer. Then I designed a t-shirt to be the award to the people that participated on the trail.

I made sure to really dig into the history of the trail and the area. Mending together the rugged environment of the southern California trail and the wild west feel of the name. The mood board that I created for this really helped hone in the visual theme for the poster. As for the t-shirt I went with a more novel and fun spin to create an incentive to entice the customer to explore
the trail.
